It’s been a challenging few years for Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family. However, one astrologer thinks things aren’t about to get any easier. According to Debbie Frank, who has her own connection with the British royals, the rebel prince is in for a “roller-coaster” year. She has predicted some big changes will start to happen around the time of King Charles III’s coronation. But what could possibly be more dramatic than what’s already taken place? Let’s find out.
The Diana connection
You may or may not actually believe in astrology, but Debbie Frank has been incredibly accurate with her royal predictions so far. It helps that she did, in fact, personally know a very prominent member of the royal family.
Once upon a time, she was Princess Diana’s personal astrologer! She even drew up star charts for the young Harry and Prince William.
Eerily accurate predictions
Back in 2018 Frank even made some predictions about Harry and Meghan that turned out to be incredibly accurate. In 2018 she told OK! magazine, “It’s hard marrying into the royal family.
There’s tradition and protocol and hoops to jump through; it’s an enormous undertaking. It would not be allowed for Harry to live abroad as a member of the royal family, but I can see an international move.”
Predicting parenthood
And Harry and Meghan did indeed move. That wasn’t all, though: Frank also predicted the couple’s strong marriage and their desire to have children.
She said, “There is clearly a strong chemical attraction between these two, but it looks like it will be a successful, long-term union too. They share a strong imprint and can complete each other’s missing components. They would both like to have children. They would both be fantastic parents.”
Looking into the future
So what has Frank said in her most recent predictions about Britain’s most famous family? Well, as 2022 turned into 2023, the royal astrologer analyzed the horoscopes of all the current royals and investigated how these interact with one another. Unsurprisingly, Harry’s purported fate is very much tied up with that of his father, Charles..
Rebel planet
On December 29, 2022, Frank ominously told Hello!, “Harry’s stars are lining up in a roller-coaster formation for him through 2023. The rebel planet Uranus is sitting uncomfortably on the most personal angle of his chart and his Moon, signifying further upsets with family, surprise moves and severance with his old life.” And she was absolutely right, because his bombshell memoir Spare was about to drop..
Going spare
When Spare came out in January 2023, it seemed to mark Harry’s final severing of ties with his father and brother. William said nothing about it publicly, but insiders claimed he was furious.
One of them told Us Weekly magazine, “[William] doesn’t even recognize his own brother any more. He wants to believe that there’s hope for peace down the line, but it’s hard.”
“Taken aback”
And royal expert Katie Nicholl informed the website Page Six, “William’s privately seething and devastated by what Harry has done. And just cannot forgive Harry for the things that he’s written.” She said that according to her sources, the royal family were “taken aback by the level of detail and just how far Harry has gone in all of this.”.
All-important guest list
This all led people to wonder if Harry would even be invited to his own father’s coronation — and if Meghan would be welcome as well. But now the royal family has confirmed the verdict.
On Wednesday, April 12, Buckingham Palace announced that Harry, Duke of Sussex, will indeed be at the coronation of his father, King Charles, at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6th. The statement confirmed, however, that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will not attend the event. She will stay at their home in California with their children, Archie and Princess Lilibet, to celebrate Archie’s fourth birthday.
Expectations of family tensions
Prince Harry, then, is attending the historic event alone. According to a friend of Harry’s, he was eager to be there for his father on this monumental occasion.
Since the Duke of Sussex is no longer a working royal, it is unclear exactly what kind of role he will play in the ceremony. His brother, William, meanwhile, is expected to play a key part as the Prince of Wales. The coronation will be the first time the public has seen him with other members of the royal family since the publishing of his bombshell memoir, Spare.
Far from settled
Astrologer Debbie Frank had plenty more to say about the publication of Spare. “Harry’s personal world looks far from settled and stable, and he’s prepared to make the final cut with his roots,” she told Hello! “His restlessness is hard to contain, triggering a desire to move home and to continually reinvent himself as independent from the royals.” So far, so accurate..
Shockwaves
She went on, “As much as he is the one triggering shockwaves, he is also receiving a wake-up call from those around him. In this cosmic climate his life feels electrically charged and full of change.” Could that mean that Harry’s period of antagonizing his family is now coming to an end and healthier relationships await?.
Grief and confusion
Regarding Spare specifically, Frank told the magazine, “The timing of the publication in January is a very sensitive period which could generate a backlash.” She certainly wasn’t wrong there. But she went on, “Harry has lived through a long period of grief and confusion with clouded perception, and after the first week in January, the veil is lifted.”.
The order of things
That moves us right to the coronation, where Frank claimed, “The eclipsed full Moon around the time of the coronation spells out [Harry’s] place in the order of things. He will need to move on.
New directions beckon from June onwards which he could use to give him a new dimension and crucially make a positive difference to the world.”
Crucial things
So does that mean Harry will be invited to his father’s coronation or not? The “move on” part seems to indicate he won’t end up going after all. Luckily, Frank’s idea that Harry will “crucially make a positive difference to the world” in the coming year implies that whatever happens, he won’t let it distract him from his work..
Meghan in March
But what about Meghan? How does she factor in all this? Well, Frank has some predictions for her as well. The duchess is “eager to move on with her life, and she’s keen to expand her reach in the world,” and one month in particular is important for her 2023.
According to Frank, “The month of March positions high-flying Jupiter at her point of ambition, pushing her into a new league of power-movers and shakers.”
Born to shine
Frank went on, “As Leo is born to shine and radiate a special confidence, she’ll find 2023 is a very satisfying year. Her fighting spirit is plain for all to see around the coronation in May and into the summer months, as assertive Mars strikes out.” That bit about “fighting spirit” also rather implies the Sussexes will be snubbed..
Collision course
In fact, it seems as though Meghan is going to have a combative 2023 in general. Frank claimed that the duchess was “ready to expand her personal base and buy another prestigious home,” but also that, “the eclipsed new Moon on October 14 could set her on a collision course with family.” Which part of the family she meant, though, she didn’t say..
Challenging year
Frank has also analyzed the coronation possibilities via Charles’ horoscope. “Scorpio… Charles is in the grip of tough Saturn as 2023 opens and Harry’s memoir is published,” she said to Hello! “This sets the tone for a challenging year ahead as the intense planet Pluto indicates personal upheavals and deep-seated feelings surfacing.” That didn’t sound too promising for Harry….
Lifting spirits
And Frank also claimed, “Jupiter's wave of confidence will lift his spirits in March through May giving [Charles] a much-needed boost. Interestingly, the Scorpio-eclipsed full Moon the day before his coronation marks the royal stamp of fate and destiny, as eclipses so often coincide with important royal events.” But it’s after the coronation that Charles should start worrying, apparently..
Doesn’t bode well
According to Frank, “The royal finances are being reordered and re-allocated, as Charles pulls apart old arrangements and cuts back on funding and expenditure. From July we can expect a lot of changes in the royal households and palaces and Charles himself is most probably at loggerheads with certain members of his family.
It doesn’t bode for a calm and peaceful year.”
Disruptions
In fact, Charles may find kinghood hard in general. According to Frank, “His old rhythm is disrupted, he is having to adopt a very different modus operandi which won’t come easily to someone who is rather set in their ways and a creature of habit.” But that apparently won’t be the only thing that dogs his first full year as monarch..
A gift
Frank also claimed in her analysis, “On top of this, family relationships are fractured, and as an intensely emotional Scorpio, Charles will feel pained by this.” Yep, that could be another reference to the Harry situation. Yet Frank did also say Charles would “find new ways of relating and working that may be a gift, in that they bring a new lease of life.”.
Cancerian Camilla
How about Charles’ wife Camilla, what does the coronation year have in store for her? Frank told Hello!, “Queen Consort Camilla is a Cancerian who is basking in a much smoother ride through 2023 than her husband. Whatever brickbats may come out of Harry’s book, she will brush aside, as she has in the past.”.
Making it work
Why does Camilla have it easier? Frank said, “She is finding the adjustments in her position easier to make and is also enjoying her new role. The pre-coronation eclipsed full Moon falls on her Jupiter — an auspicious elevation that she can use for good.
Camilla will be keen to dispense with some of the stuffier aspects of court life and remain an approachable figure, doing things her way and maintaining some kind of independent life with her bolt-hole escape. She manages to make everything work.”
Difficult month
That just leaves the Cambridges for Frank to look at. What about William, where does he stand? Frank told Hello!, “January, the month when Harry's book Spare is published, looks to be a tricky one for sensitive Cancerian William, as combative Mars lies stock-still on his Mercury and he feels so triggered but unable to say what he would like to say.” Yep, that’s spot-on..
Deep-freeze
Frank went on, “Later in January, the cold front of Saturn increases his boundaries and sets in a relationship deep-freeze. For Cancer, it’s the equivalent of burying himself in his fortress shell.” So we can assume, unfortunately, that things between him and his brother are super-bad at the moment, just as the palace insiders said..
Finding his feet
Still, Frank thinks that William’s year will get better after that. “From spring onwards, William is in a time of exponential growth and really finding his feet as a very popular Prince of Wales,” she said.
“William will be setting up long-range initiatives, and as Cancer is a sign of great emotional intelligence, William’s natural empathy with people is going to be his hallmark and legacy.”
William’s year
And after the coronation, maybe things will even start to heal within the royal family? Frank said of William, “September and October are hard-working months, with decisive eclipses on the 14th and 28th that define his goals and bring a family matter to a crunch point, enabling everyone to move forward,” adding, “2023 is William’s year to carve out his pathway towards eventual kingship.”.
Gluing back together
But what do other astrologers think? On the last day of 2022 tarot reader Patrick Price shared his thoughts with British newspaper the Daily Express. He also seemed to think Harry’s relationship with his family would start to mend in the next 12 months, saying, “The rift in the royal household will begin to glue back together, and it is suggested in their charts that Harry and Meghan may begin to find some peace in this area, which could suggest that other members of the royal household begin to take accountability for their part in the breakdown of the relationship”..
Mending things
Fans of the royal family may well be hoping that that prediction is right and that Harry and Meghan may tentatively start mending bridges this year. Whether Harry and Meghan will attend the coronation is still up in the air.
However, there's another looming prediction that says Harry hasn't completed his royal duties, not by a long shot. This curve ball comes from a modern-day Nostradamus scholar, who has some significant evidence to back up his claim.
Our future
The Nostradamus scholar in question is Mario Reading, who published the book Nostradamus: Complete Prophecies for the Future in 2005. In the intro to the book, he claimed that the famed future-seer had even predicted 9/11 centuries before it happened, something that “give[s] even further credence to his prognostications for both our future, and that of our planet.”.
Sudden success
Reading’s book about Nostradamus wasn’t all that popular at first. It was published in 2005, and by 2022 it was only selling a few copies a week.
But after September 2022, suddenly, people were clamoring to get hold of it and buying thousands of copies. What had changed? Well, that was the month Elizabeth passed away.
Correct prediction?
As it turned out, the way Reading had interpreted one of Nostradamus’ prophecies had correctly predicted the date of the late monarch’s passing. He wrote in the book, taking note of the “wide implications” of it all, “Queen Elizabeth II will die, circa 2022, at the age of around 96.”.
Considered unworthy
And that’s exactly what happened. So that makes the next part rather damning for Charles, seeing as how it says, “Because they disapproved of his divorce/A man who later they considered unworthy/The people will force out the King of the islands/A man will replace him who never expected to be King.”.
Broken marriage
And we all know about Charles’ divorce and how much it disapproval it met. When he split from Diana in favor of Camilla Parker-Bowles, the tabloids were merciless and so were his future subjects.
After the future monarch had confessed to infidelity, British newspaper The Sun ran a telephone poll and reported that about two-thirds of participants thought he was unfit to rule.
King of the Islands
Reading wrote in the book that after Elizabeth’s passing, “Charles will be crowned in her stead, and become ‘King of the Islands’, the implication here being that he is no longer king of the other regions in the world over which his mother reigned — Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc — which will have, in the interim, become republics.”.
Republics
However this part of the prediction, and Reading’s take on it, is more tricky. Charles is actually still monarch of Canada, Australia and New Zealand, although it’s true that many nations either have or plan to become republics.
Barbados cut ties with the monarchy in 2021; in time countries including Jamaica, Belize, and the Bahamas may well follow suit.
Resentments
Interpreting Nostradamus’ prophesy, Reading predicted in the book, “Charles will be 74 years old in 2022 when he takes over the throne, but the resentments held against him by a certain proportion of the British population, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales, still persist.” And it’s doubtless true that some people have never forgiven his infamous affair..
Tampongate
For example, Netflix hit The Crown recently brought the details of Charles’ infidelity to a whole new audience. Season five dramatized the “tampongate” conversation he once had with Camilla, an embarrassing incident that the monarch probably wishes could be left in the past.
Even as King, he can’t stop people talking about his affair and his messy divorce.
Heavy is the head
Reading predicted that after Charles got his crown, things would take a turn for the worse, writing, “The pressure on him is so great, and his age so much against him, that Charles agrees to abdicate in favor of his son.” And indeed the prospect of the royals “skipping a generation” had been talked about even before Elizabeth passed away..
King William
Some people have wondered whether Charles might one day end up abdicating because of advancing age, rather than because the people of Britain want him out. In 2022 Conor Friedersdorf of magazine The Atlantic suggested, “A more consequential use of Charles’s reign would be to rule briefly and abdicate at 75… while touting the importance of passing the throne to Prince William in his son’s prime rather than his dotage.”.
Henry IX
But what about the next part of the prophecy? Reading posed the question, based on Nostradamus’ “never expected to be King” line, “Does this mean that Prince William, who would have expected to succeed his father, is no longer in the picture? And that Prince Harry, by process of default, becomes King in his stead? That would make him King Henry IX, aged just 38.”.
Two options
Could that possibly happen? And in what circumstances would William not ascend the throne after his father? There are only two real options. The first would be if he abdicates, like his ancestor the Duke of Windsor did. But that would mean his oldest son, Prince George, would become ruler of the United Kingdom, not William’s brother Harry..
Royal rules of succession
The same thing would happen in the unlikely event William died before Charles. If that happened, George would take the throne, assuming he was of age.
But if Charles and William both died while George was still a minor, a regent would have to be appointed, and who would be the most likely candidate? Yes, Harry.
Regency
Being a regent isn’t quite the same thing as being King, but it’s pretty close. And assuming things really did take such a tragic turn for the royal family, Harry is about the only really viable option for a regent.
It basically comes down to either him or Prince Andrew — and after his legal trouble Andrew is almost certainly getting nowhere near the throne.
Negative
But would Harry ever accept the idea of becoming regent, even to help out his own young nephew after a tragedy? Based on his comments since stepping down as a royal, it does seem unlikely. Anderson Cooper asked him in a January 2023 interview, “Can you see a day when you would return as a full-time member of the royal family?” and he immediately answered “No.”.
Contingency plans
But the British government may actually be making plans for the possibility, however slight, that both Charles and William die before George comes of age. In October 2022 Viscount Stansgate asked peers in the House of Lords if they were “happy to continue with a situation where the counsels of state and regency powers may be exercised by the Duke of York or the Duke of Sussex, one of whom has left public life and the other of whom has left the country?”.
Pain
But despite everything, it’s obvious Harry still cares very much about his family. He said in the Anderson Cooper interview that he still loved William, despite the “pain between the two of us.” He most likely would step up for his nephew George if needed — especially since he, too, has experience of losing a parent at a young age..
Worst possibility
There is a second and even more tragic way Harry could become King, and not just a regent. If something dreadful happened that wiped out the entire Cambridge family — Prince William and all three of his heirs — the throne would go to Harry.
He would rule as king with Meghan as Queen Consort.
Heir care
Obviously that scenario is a horrible one to consider, but there are members of the royal household who very much have to think about it anyway. There is actually a royal protocol dictating that two heirs to the throne should never travel together, in case of an accident.
But William has broken that rule and often gone on planes with his children.
Prophecy revisited
So those are all the ways that Harry can become king. But what if Nostradamus’ prophecy wasn’t referring to Harry at all? After all, it doesn’t mention any names, just “a man will replace him who never expected to be King.” And there’s one person out there who’s willing to believe he’s actually the man in question..
Secret child?
A British-born Australian named Simon Dorante-Day has long claimed he’s the secret son of Charles and Camilla. According to him, his adoptive grandparents once worked in the royal household under Elizabeth, and his grandmother told him outright that he was Charles’ and Camilla’s child.
There’s no cast-iron proof, though.
Out of left field
Now Dorante-Day thinks the prophecy might be about him. He told the Australian news website 7news in 2022, “I’ve had five people approach me in a few hours, sending me over this page from the book.
It’s certainly food for thought, because the prediction makes it clear that someone out of left field would replace Charles as King. I can see why some people would think I fit the bill.”
Looking forward
Dorante-Day went on, “I believe I am the son of Charles and Camilla and I’m looking forward to my day in court to prove this. Maybe Nostradamus has the same understanding that I do, that all this will come out one day.” Dorante-Day went public with his claims decades ago in the 1990s, but Charles and Camilla have never responded..
Comments
So this is certainly one of the more complex prophecies that Nostradamus put out into the world. But unfortunately the man who interpreted it, Reading, didn’t live to see people celebrate his book.
He passed away in January 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Still, his son Laurie has commented to the media about the royal revelations.
Proud
In September 2022 Laurie told the Wales Online news website, “It's been completely incredible to see so many people discussing and sharing my father’s book. It really was a labor of love for him to write, and if he was here today he'd be wonderfully proud that a number of his interpretations have come to fruition.
I look forward to seeing what other predictions come true.”
Up and coming?
And Laurie thinks he might have an idea as to what Nostradamus believed 2023 would be like. He mentioned to the website one prophecy that apparently corresponds to the year, which reads, “The two contenders will unite together/When most others unite with Mars/The African leader is fearful and trembles/The dual alliance is separated by the fleet.” He said he believed it could refer to Elon Musk’s plan to colonize Mars.
We’ll just have to wait and see!
