4. Alec Guinness, Star Wars

It’s no lie to say that Alec Guinness was not the greatest fan of Star Wars. Indeed, he said that he “shriveled” every time that the film was even mentioned to him. He hated the dialog particularly, calling it “mumbo jumbo,” and in the end, he would bin fan mail that came from Star Wars devotees without looking at it.

Lots of stars have taken on the role of Batman over the years, but one who wishes that he never had is George Clooney. Critics and fans alike have put the boot into Batman & Robin, and even Clooney has joined in. 2. Mark Wahlberg, Boogie Nights

Contrariwise, Boogie Nights is a much-loved movie, considered a breakthrough for star Mark Wahlberg. However, one person who doesn’t agree is Wahlberg himself. The film features among the greatest regrets of the strict Catholic’s life. He said, “I just always hope that God is a movie fan and also forgiving, because I’ve made some poor choices in my past.”

Charlize Theron has enjoyed success in some big movies, but one that didn’t gain her or anyone else much acclaim was Reindeer Games. She took a part because she very much wanted to star in a John Frankenheimer film. However, the film bombed, and Theron’s judgment is echoed by many critics. She said, “That was a bad, bad, bad movie.”
